Job Description:
Job Summary:
The IT Operations Support is responsible for troubleshooting and
resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of
systems and processes, and providing administrative support.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
--- None.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
--- Provides technical support to customers and staff,
troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and
professionally.
--- Monitors system performance and ensures that all systems and
processes are running efficiently.
--- Installs and configures hardware, software, and networks.
--- Performs system maintenance tasks, including system upgrades
and patches.
--- Creates and maintains user accounts and access levels.
--- Monitors network security and ensures compliance with policies
and regulations.
--- Generates reports, analyzes data, and documents processes.
--- Provides administrative support to staff as needed.
--- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
--- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
--- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
--- Thorough understanding of technology, software, and
hardware.
--- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
--- Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and
applications used in the organization and the industry.
Education & Experience:
--- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
required.
--- At least 2 years of IT operations support experience.
Physical Requirements
--- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
--- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
